The Kiva U.S. team will be on holiday from December 20th to January 2nd, 2022.
During this time, you should not expect to have your application reviewed, and borrowers who
complete fundraising should only expect to receive their funds in the new year.

If you’re in the process of applying for a loan, or if you’re already fundraising with us, please
visit our website kivaushub.org/borrower to find useful resources.

NOTEWORTHY DATES

FOR ASSISTANCE

While we won’t be reviewing, posting, or disbursing loans, our Borrower Support team will still be
available to help you with any urgent questions you might have during this period.
The Borrower Support team can be reached at borrowers@kiva.org.

We look forward to seeing you in the new year. Happy holidays!

The Ohio SBDC at Columbus State is proud to be the Kiva Columbus Hub for Central Ohio. Understanding the challenges that most small businesses experience with access to capital due to limited collateral, credit challenges, limited investments, and early-stage lending, Kiva removes those barriers by providing a non-traditional capital alternative.

Kiva is a character-based, community-backed lender. Kiva provides funding opportunities for entrepreneurs who do not fit into the box of traditional conventional financing.  Kiva loans are 0% interest, up to $15,000. The loans offer 6 – 36 month terms with no late fees or prepayment penalties for paying off your loan early. The SBDC is here to assist you in navigating the application process and to champion community support.
